I drive off from California a month from today. I am getting more and more excited, but there is so much to do. I finally did my taxes today, and I only owe 850, compared to 3000 from last year. Tonight, I'm going to poker at Mike and Beige's... revenge! Tomorrow is my yard sale party. I hope people want my stuff! LL

So I got the money for my loan from Dad. And I already paid off 3 accounts COMPLETELY. They are finito. Yay!!! AND I was able to pay every single one of my outstanding bills. So I am current on everything. Woo hoo! Now I owe Dad, but that will be a much more manageable and lower interest payment. My goal is to have most of my debt paid off in five years, so I can open a yarn store. I have a new shoe obsession. I usually have phases with sneakers. In the last few years, it has been with Converse and Pumas. Now, I have added the new Keds skimmers to the list. They have all these slip on skimmers in cool retro patterns and stuff. I got a cheap pair last night at Shoe Pavilion with tiny dots all over them, and I am in love. They are sooooo comfy. And I have the benefits of wearing sturdier shoes than my usual sandals without having to put on socks. I know this may be boring to some, but I am ecstatic. I have been looking at them online for a while. My plan has come to fruition. Must... get

busy busy busy Last night, Marri called me at midnight cause Lil Bunny is sick. We had to drive all the way to Diamond Bar, don't even ask where that is, to go to an emergency vet. I hope Lil is OK!! I'm getting my car worked on right now, and all the repairs are gonna be a lot a lot a lot! But I have to get them done, cause I can't risk a mishap going across the country. BUT the good news is the service guys and I have worked out a deal. Basically, they'll take a few hundred dollars off the cost, if I bring them porn. NO PROBLEM! I already have a HUGE box ready with dvds, toys, and swag. They won't know what hit them. I've been packing packing packing. More this weekend. LL

I finished Square 11! That was a fast one. I talked to the 2nd tier guy at Adam & Eve today. It was positive, but now he has to talk to a guy above him... so waiting waiting waiting... I got payoff amounts for 6 accts today. I should be able to pay them off by the end of next week with the loan i'm getting. Yay! Just in time for owing 2006 taxes. I need to get that info together this weekend!!!! I keep putting it off. LL

Got 5 Boxes packed so far... woo hoo! Afterwards though, I fell asleep and forgot about karaoke. Oops. I finished Square 10. Yay! I discovered Ben and Jerry's new flavor, Peach Cobbler. It is divine, I tell you. Mmmmm. LL

His name is Barnaby, and he's a yellow lab. Heehee. He belongs to Brinn and Nathan, and since I didn't take Elle with me to their place this weekend, Barnaby slept with me. We had a grand old time. He was sad to me go. I was too. Who knows when I'll get to see him again! Maybe I'll actually go to karaoke tonight... LL

Not doing so hot in my office NCAA pool. Oh well. Dook lost. Bad for my bracket, BUT good for my soul. Today's Pete's bday, so he's having a party at his house. There will be tons of porn girls there. Joy. I'm not really in the mood, but I have to go for Pete. Tomorrow I'm going to Lake Arrowhead for the weekend. See Brinn one last time before I move. I hope to see her in NYC June 1, but we'll see about that. Don't know if it's feasible. I'll definitely be stopping at Chick Fil A on the way tomorrow! Have a nice weekend. LL

Talked to the guy at Adam & Eve today, but he was basically just seeing if I was interested in a certain job. Now he's passing me on to the real person I need to talk to... and so it continues. Turns out Brinn can't drive cross country with me. I am very sad. I really don't want to do it alone. Any volunteers? Somebody sent me a bouquet of cookies at work. They were yummy. Yes, I shared. I only had 2. Did you know they now have dark chocolate Cadbury Minieggs? LL

I have abandoned you for a couple of days, and for that I am truly sorry. Firstly, Ron Jeremy's bday bash was a total let down. It was a cluster fuck. Hardly anybody I knew showed, and it was basically like being at any loud obnoxious clube that I try to avoid. I took Doug with me, and it was sort of interesting just observing people for a while. My couch is gone! And the same people took away my nightstand, my craft table, and my bookcase. Yay! My books are now piled where my couch used to be, but I received my packing supplies yesterday so I will begin packing soon. I was home sick yesterday. Damn pains in my intestines for hours! Gross! I only have a month and a half left in LA. Sad and happy at the same time. I'll be busy for the next few days, so I can't start packing just yet. Tonight, I'm getting tacos with Julie and Doug, and tomorrow is craft night of course. Then Friday is Pete's bday, and Sat and Sun I'm going to Lake Arrowhead to see Brinn. OH OH OH!

So supposedly, I am on the list for Ron Jeremy's bday party tomorrow in Hollywood. Should be interesting. I got Doug and Rob on the list too. Don't know if Rob will go or not though. It's Priya's bday too. Those girls are supposed to come and take the couch and tables tomorrow. Haven't heard from them yet though. I assume I will though since they already paid me! Oh, oh, oh! I finished Square 9. Woo hoo! I'm truckin. LL

Well, finally sold my couch. These sweet girls who recently graduated from NYU got it. They're coming to pick it up on Saturday, along with 2 of my tables. Then it's pack, pack, pack. I started sorting out clothes I'm getting rid of, and I filled a huge box already. It's hard to part with some of them, there are some really cute dresses in there. But let's face facts. I'm not gonna fit into those again any time soon. Sad. But at least Brooklyn was happy. She thought I was making a bed for her, and proceeded to sleep on top of the mound of clothes. My boss asked me today how the job search at Adam & Eve is going. I started to tell him that his friend was helping me, and he stopped me and said I know all about it. He also said We're on it. Whatever that means. LL

So I've had my couch listed in classifieds for weeks now, with no takers. Suddenly, this week, people are basically fighting over it. I have a couple of people scheduled to come take a gander tonight. Hopefully someone will buy it, like now! I finished Square 8! Yay! Half of blanket done. On to the greens. I got a bunch of boxes from Unwind to sort my stuff in, and ordered moving bundles online to pack my stuff in. Things are moving along. Some people are doing trivia tonight, but i can't cause of my couch. poop. LL

So Friday night, Me, Marri, and Bryan went to the Griffith Observatory. Katie's friend Doug was supposed to come, but he got caught in traffic. Anyway... it was awesome! The exhibits were cool, the building was beautiful, and we got to look thru their big telescope and actually see Saturn as clear as day! So cool. We also went to the planetarium show. Sat night, Doug came over and we went to Fatty's in Eagle Rock for fondue, and I showed him around my side of town a little. He was cool, but didn't remember me at all. After dinner, we went back to my apt, where he picked thru my porn and toys. He left a happy man. Yesterday, it was Marri and Leslie errand day. We ate yummy Indian food in Pasadena, went to a flea market, and went to Old Navy, Mervyn's, Borders, and Home Depot. I got really cute and majorly on sale baby clothes for Colin at Mervyn's. Leigh is gonna love em. Oh, and I finished Square 7. Almost halfway done with the blanket! LL

Going to the Griffith Observatory tonight. You know, the place in Rebel Without a Cause? I've always wanted to go, but it's been closed almost the whole time I've lived here. It reopened a few months ago and I finally get to go! Yay! Get to cross off something from my list. Katie's friend, Doug, is coming with us tonight. I met him a couple of times years ago, and he recently moved here. Had lunch at CPK with Brent today. Haven't seen him a while. Hope to see him more before I leave. I'm trying my hardest to cram it all in. Someone's coming to look at my couch tomorrow. Wish me luck. LL
