In March, I went to see Staci and the Wilsons in Granite Falls while Jim stayed home and did Fantasy Baseball draft or something... and then we went to Vegas for Alice's wedding!!! We stayed at the Encore and had a great time. The suite was awesome, and the wedding was beautiful!

Basically, the only highlight of February was Valentine's Weekend, which we actually spent at Jim's parents in Semora, cause I had to take Elle there to get her teeth cleaned. So a romantic v-day dinner at Rock-ola in Danville it was!! Yay! That's all I have to say about that. Sorry it's boring. LL

January was filled with crazyness as always with my job. It started off with Jim's Bday, then my first PartyLite show as a consultant! Then, off to Vegas for the annual adult convention... even the armadillo came for the fun! AND I got to unveil my new knee-hi converse! Dennis and Jim explored Vegas, CES, and the AEE show, with all it's excitement. It was old news to Jim, but Dennis was amused by the whole experience. My company won most of the big AVN awards for our big movie, The 8th Day!!! I even went on stage with all my peeps. Good times. enjoy the pics while I see if I can remember February...

This is only, ummm, about 4 months late! Don't get your panties in a wad. December, as always, was full of excitement! Leigh was on Jeopardy and WON! There were Holiday Parties galore! (Including a drama-filled work party.) Xmas in Charlotte and then Semora, where I introduced Jim's family to my famous mac n cheese! Yum. I also started my own PartyLite business! November kicked off the holiday season with a busy month. First was Mom's 60th bday, so me and Jim went to CLT and went to a nice dinner with Mom and her friend johnny. The next weekend was Jim's early Xmas present. I took him to DC to go see his favorite football team for the first time, the Redskins! And they won after several losses in a row. It was beautiful weather too! The next weekend I was back in CLT to dogsit and I took Meemaw to Drag Bingo cause Johnny was one of the helpers, dressed as Joan Crawford! Then Thanksgiving was nice. I spent it in Semora with Jim's family. They were introduced to my must-have famous Mac N Cheese. LL

Oh yeah. Halloween. I won 2nd place at work costume contest. Rad.

October was filled with trip after trip after trip. First, I went to Myrtle Beach with Staci and friends for a girls crafty weekend. (Staci and Amy look really enthused in the pic!) My biggest trip was to Nashville, where I was able to see one of my favorite dogs, Barnaby, and meet Baby Lady Yvie. Also got to go to Nathan's amazing haunted house. Very cool. Lady time is always cool. I was also introduced to Partylite products, and am now addicted, and have opened my own business as a Partylite Independent Consultant. And LOTS of adorable yarn producing animals, including a very special baby llama (pictured) and a sheep named Clara. I even learned to spin my own yarn! Hopefully Nov won't be far behind...

Labor Day weekend me and Jim and a friend of his went to the awesome Carolina Professional Alumni Basketball game at the Dean Dome. It was to kickoff the 100th anniversary of Carolina basketball. It was fun. Especially since there was no "enemy" team. Everyone cheered for everyone and the game was over really quickly. Michael Jordan was also there and recognized for finally getting into the Basketball Hall of Fame. And the 2009 NCAA Championship banner was unveiled. Good times. The next weekend I went to the beach (Oak Island) with my knitting group, Girls With Purls. It was fun. I got a lot of knitting done AND a fabulous yarn wreath for year-round. Then came the move. I have moved into a friend in my knitting group's house. She has saved me from eviction basically. Me and Jim prepped the room with fresh light green cozy paint. I have a cozy nook, and am *almost* settled. Can't say the cat is though. There are already 4 cats there so my little psycho queen bee has to...

August was good times. My dad turned 65. Not that I was there. And I had a couple of trips. Surprise surprise. I went to WV to see the Roseneckers. It was Chucks bday too, and we went to an old cool amusement park in Pittsburgh called Kennywood. Charlie had his first haircut and I finally got to stop at the New River Gorge. Then I went to Vegas with some Ladies. Good times ensued. I also got a new roommate, who promptly moved out due to my psycho cat. Life has been crazy since. More on that later. Don't want to spoil future months!!! :) Maybe I'll fill you in on Sept soon...

We started July by having a 4th of July cookout in Semora with jim's family. It was a nice summer day. The next weekend, we went to Alice and Chais' engagement party. it was her bday too. Mosquitos ate me alive, but it was a grand vegan time! The weekend of July 18th, Staci and Amy came to visit for Staci's bday. We showed Amy all around Chapel Hill and campus, and even met up with Jenny. And we got to meet her little boy, owen. He is so freakin cute!!! The last weekend was me and Jim's YEAR anniversary, so went to see Jeremy and Staci in granite falls and then to blowing rock/ boone for romantic times/ tubing down the New River. One of these pics is of a freaky tree that looks like its humping. Another exciting thing was that we put together my glass cabinet finally, so now it's like my very own yarn store!!! LL

I'm trying to catch up I swear! So here's the June lowdown... At the beginning of June, I met up with the Ladies for a girls weekend in Nashville. Brinn was about to pop, and we needed to get Kiki's mind off things. It was superfun! We gave Brinn some baby goodies, hung out at the pool, and I got my first "big girl" purse at the Coach outlet. The next weekend was Erotica LA. I went to LA, and did the same old same old at the show. We had the FAME awards and it was good. I even got to see Julie and Pete! Anyway- July to come soon hopefully. LL

Me and Jim took Elle to a special baseball game sponsored by the SPCA. My friend Andrea came with her furbaby too. It was fun. The best part was Elle won the contest for BEST KISSER! Dont ask what I had to do to win. All she won was a big pink toy. She used it as a pillow on the way home.

Me and Jim went with a big group of his friends and their families to the beach for the long weekend in May. Got a little sun, had some fun, and most importantly, had several "outdoor" showers. I love outdoor showers. Didnt really get any pics, but i did take one of this Barbie scene someone had in their front yard. It was very odd, yet awesome.

Stitch N Pitch went off without a hitch. Not even a bitch nor a witch. ha.

So I think I will split each event into its own post. I have a lot of pics. First was Leigh and the fam's sudden visit to my apt. They were supposed to go to charlotte and me and jim were gonna go down to see them for a night, but mom's washer burst and flooded her condo. So they all came to stay with me. Since I dont have a roommate yet I had room luckily. Even mom and meemaw came but they stayed in a hotel. The boys have grown so much and are so cute!!! Hope to see them again this summer sometime.

The first weekend in April I went to Charlotte with my knitting group to explore yarn stores and the new Ikea. Elle had a good time with Jammy and had a nice moment in a swing. Easter weekend Me and Jim went to visit Brinn in Nashville and to see Flight of the Conchords in concert. It was awesome. And it was great to see her sweet dog Barnaby! Then I moved into a new apt in my complex. Then it was my bday! A pretty sedate one but fun all the same.
