Making Craft Night bicoastal

Tomorrow, I am implementing Craft Night on Thursdays at my place. A couple of girls I met are coming. And hopefully a few more will come every now and then. But I am dedicating every other thursday to crafting. It won't be the same without Marri and Beige though.

I went to a class today to learn the timecard system at Duke. I will become in charge of it for my whole dept if I become permanent, which seems likely since they made me go to the class. I was the nerd of the class. It took 4 hrs... and could've been less than an hr. But there were several slow at computers types there. The instructor made me stop answering questions at one point.

Back home for a day...

So here I am back in Durham. Ah, my bed. My pets. It's a good thing. But I can't get used to it, because I go to NYC tomorrow. But first in the morn, I have a real interview at Adam & Eve. But I get home, and right after I picked up Elle, my car started overheating. ARGH!!!!! I should have just gotten a new car. And I just went to watch stuff I tivoed this week, and it's all blank! That's happened a couple of times now. It's the cable. I have to restart it. Blah. Beth is gonna take me to my interview tomorrow, and Katie is gonna pick me up and take me to the airport. Life savers! I can't take my car in til Monday I guess. Anyway, I shouldn't go to NY, but I am. I need to get away and not think about my car. LL

Dear Blond Guy, We shared some good times in the 20 words or so that we spoke... but I'm afraid I must end things before they get out of hand.
