July - Dec 2019 Round Up! Before the world changed....

July 2019 Jammie brought Kelsey another handmade dress from a character in Pinkalicious! 

One of my bestest friends, Jessie, turned the big 4-0! Me and Amie helped her hubby plan a surprise party with all her favorite things!

There wasn't much exciting that I can remember from Aug 2019, but in Sept, I went to a work conference, had a painting party for door hangers at the house, and had a fun beach trip near Cape Hatteras with the Lockharts! The house we got was super tall and the stairs were tough, but we had a good time. Thanks to Aunt Dana for planning! Kelsey is dying to go back.

October was quite eventful. I went to South Padre Island, TX for a work girls trip. SO FUN!! Karaoke in a bar and reeking of cigarette smoke. It's been a while since I saw smoking in a bar! We also went on a Dolphin cruise. Love those ladies!

Aunt Wendy and Uncle Dan invited us on another beach trip so how could we refuse? We also got to meet new cousin, Connor! 

October 2019 marked my 5 year anniversary of having my magazine, Abbington Life, in print. I had a big party and chamber ribbon cutting to mark the milestone. many friends, networking buddies, clients, and residents came out to support me.

Halloween we dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland. Kelsey was Alice of course, Jim was the White Rabbit, and I was the Queen of Hearts. Off with their heads!

In November, Jim and I celebrated our anniversary with dinner at the Angus Barn. Yummmmmm. Kelsey got to see her first movie in the theatre, Frozen II. And I treated Jammie to an extra special meal for her 70th birthday.

In Dec, I chaperoned Kelsey's pre-school class to a live production of Rudolph. So fun! Christmas was awesome of course, though I had to "meet" Santa to get Kelsey's presents since Kelsey didn't want him coming in the house! We went to the Holiday Express thing in Pullen Park again. And me and some girlfriends did an ugly sweater night at the Melting Pot. We won prizes but never got to use it because of Covid in 2020.
