The remainder of 2020... that pandemic thing continues

 


Summer 2020- since everyone was home and still quarantining, little pools were hard to find one. I snagged one from Target at 4 in the morning one night, and we used it a lot!



Grandad came to visit

Jammie visited for the first time in 10 months for her bday!


December was Aunt Leigh's 50th bday, but since we couldn't see her I had special cookies made!

On to 2021, when this pandemic will surely be over, RIGHT?

Back home for a day...

So here I am back in Durham. Ah, my bed. My pets. It's a good thing. But I can't get used to it, because I go to NYC tomorrow. But first in the morn, I have a real interview at Adam & Eve. But I get home, and right after I picked up Elle, my car started overheating. ARGH!!!!! I should have just gotten a new car. And I just went to watch stuff I tivoed this week, and it's all blank! That's happened a couple of times now. It's the cable. I have to restart it. Blah. Beth is gonna take me to my interview tomorrow, and Katie is gonna pick me up and take me to the airport. Life savers! I can't take my car in til Monday I guess. Anyway, I shouldn't go to NY, but I am. I need to get away and not think about my car. LL

Break Up Letter

Dear Blond Guy, We shared some good times in the 20 words or so that we spoke... but I'm afraid I must end things before they get out of hand. It seems that you have a lonely wife waiting at home for you in Seattle, and I feel for this poor woman. I am a true lady and will not hone in on such a situation as this.
