Handmade Market



I went to the Handmade Market in Raleigh on saturday. All kinds of crafty goodness. I may try to get a booth for the next one with Girls with Purls... anyway, I bought an awesome necklace. I fell in love with one of the booths jewelry (www.moodswingstudio.com), which features vintage storybook images in jewelry.This is the one I got. It has 2 sides, so I change it depending on my mood. Marri- they had a really cute storybook bunny one that you need!

The week's almost over!!

It's been an eventful week in good and bad ways. Tues, I got an intestinal attack for a few hrs at work. It was awful. Then, yesterday, I had a screw in a tire on my car. It was easy to fix though. Then last night, i had my otehr crochet class, and I learned the treble stitch, granny squares, circles, spirals, and little urchin like things called bouillons!! It's like a whole worl of possibility opened!! After my bunny slippers I'm gonna make a crochet top from the Happy hooker book, to see how I fare at a real garment. It's appropriately called Cupcake. I also found a dress to wear to the weddings I'm going to this fall, and it was cheap! Yay!! One less thing to worry about. Tonight is the premiere of Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, and the Office. Yippeee!!!!!!!! LL

Happy Friday the 13th!

I have exactly 2 weeks left of work here. Still nothing from Adam & Eve. Poo. But Paul just wrote a great rec letter for me, so maybe that will help. Update on the drive cross country: Meemaw is going with me! I bought a ticket for her yesterday. That should be interesting. Maybe even fun. Me, Meemaw, and the babies. Won't stay in Nashville 2 nights anymore though. I'm sure our travels will be slower now. I'm going to a party tonight, but I have a lot of packing and stuff to do this weekend. I want to get it done, so I can have a real apt sale next weekend. Gotta get rid of my stuff! Taking the pets to the vet tomorrow for shots and a check up. Can't really afford it, but I need to go. Eek! LL
