Another Day, Not Another Dollar

Pay is officially a week late now. Starting to get worried about several things including, but not limited to: oh, my negative checking balance, paying rent, paying bills, money for Vegas next week, eating... I need a new freakin job pronto! Sending out 10 resumes a day plus is good right? One thing is bad though... i'm running out of stamps and can't afford more! And i got a papercut on my tongue from licking envelopes.

I'm sure it will work out, but jeez...

Back home for a day...

So here I am back in Durham. Ah, my bed. My pets. It's a good thing. But I can't get used to it, because I go to NYC tomorrow. But first in the morn, I have a real interview at Adam & Eve. But I get home, and right after I picked up Elle, my car started overheating. ARGH!!!!! I should have just gotten a new car. And I just went to watch stuff I tivoed this week, and it's all blank! That's happened a couple of times now. It's the cable. I have to restart it. Blah. Beth is gonna take me to my interview tomorrow, and Katie is gonna pick me up and take me to the airport. Life savers! I can't take my car in til Monday I guess. Anyway, I shouldn't go to NY, but I am. I need to get away and not think about my car. LL

Dear Blond Guy, We shared some good times in the 20 words or so that we spoke... but I'm afraid I must end things before they get out of hand. It seems that you have a lonely wife waiting at home for you in Seattle, and I feel for this poor woman. I am a true lady and will not hone in on such a situation as this.
