Poor Kayden



One of our girls, Kayden Kross, very sweet and smart, went to New Zealand this week for an event, and has a had a rough time there. First, she was given a hard time and detained for hours for no real reason upon entering the country. THEN, there was a parade type thing happening, and a drunk crowd guy punched her!!!! I think it's safe to say she won't be going back to NZ.

Update on me

What's new? Well, I'm moving back to NC, Charlotte to be exact at the end of August, most likely. I do karaoke every Monday night with a new group of friends and we rock it out. I'm going to Hawaii in June and I still don't have anyone to go with me. EEK! LL

BEWARE the IDES of MARCH

Today's History Lesson: The ides of March is one day that continues to appeal, marked because that was the date that Julius Caesar was assassinated in the senate, in 44BC. Its modern-day memory is thanks, like so many things, to Shakespeare's way with words. In act one, scene two of Julius Caesar, Caesar asks a soothsayer what the future holds. Caesar: Who is it in the press that calls on me? I hear a tongue, shriller than all the music Cry "Caesar!" Speak. Caesar is turn'd to hear. Soothsayer: Beware the ides of March.
